They aid in the wound-healing process and stimulate stem cells to produce collagen and elastin in your skin. Before treatment, we draw a vial of your blood. The PRF is separated from other blood components and the purified PRF is used for skin rejuvenation. It will then be applied topically during a microneedling treatment. PRF is generally performed as a series of treatments spaced four to six weeks apart.
Microneedling is a procedure that uses a series of tiny needles to penetrate the various dermal layers and stimulate natural collagen growth while triggering rapid skin cell turnover. During a microneedling treatment, we often apply a topical serum which allows the micro-pen to glide across the skin, providing channels in which the nourishing ingredients can penetrate more deeply.
