It combines low-intensity, non-focused ultrasound with electrical current fields. The CellSound system’s ultrasound transducer is applied to the treatment area and creates cell resonance, or vibration of the cells through ultrasound waves that are transmitted to the tissue. Electrical current fields are produced through four electrodes attached to the treatment area. This causes slight muscle contraction and increases cell membrane permeability making the cells more responsive to ultrasound waves and allows the release of free fatty acids from the cell membrane. This allows for tightening and contouring of the arms, thighs, abdomen, flanks, and face with zero downtime.
